Welcome to Transitioning Together
Building skills to help people with special needs thrive.
Empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through friendship, joy, and community connection.

🧩 Who We Are
A joyful group of diverse individuals—some with visible disabilities—laughing, high-fiving, or sharing a group hug at an event (like bowling or a picnic). Bright, natural lighting and bold colors reflect warmth and unity.

🎉 What We Do
Two or three people sitting together—one helping another with a craft or sharing a snack—smiling with genuine care. Include soft heart shapes or a circle motif to symbolize unity and friendship.

🤝 How You Can Help
A patchwork-style collage showing volunteers, families, and supporters coming together—hands joined, working at an event, setting up decorations, or serving food. Include a faded background of your logo and the tagline: “Together, we thrive.”

“Transitioning Together has given our family hope, friendship, and a true sense of belonging.”

“As the mother of a completely disabled son I cherish these events and look forward with great anticipation to them. The special needs world is new to us as my son was hit by a rare disease at the age of 8 years. These events keep us from becoming isolated and also allow for me to interact with other parents. My son enjoys these as well”

“We are so appreciative to have the bowling event. My family was able to come and watch h my daughter in her element with friends, instead of the opposite all the time. They got to see how she does life.”
